This article is aimed at dispelling the amazing confusion of mind which still exists with regard to Marshall McLuhan's notion of the global village. It shows that contrary to those who would identify the global village concept with an electronic utopia, it works to definitely promote a comprehensive understanding of the human race's present-day electronically guided realities.
